Bake sale held for Lindberg Village families

Bake sale held for Lindberg Village families

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI)— On Friday July 19th a Lindberg Village Fire Benefit Bake Sale was held.

All proceeds were donated to Lindberg Village Fire Families.

Donations were delivered to Popp A Top, 1820 Schuyler Avenue, Lafayette on Thursday/Friday from 11-5, and 826 Main Street from 5-6 pm.

Special treats from the community’s favorite local bakeries and community members were used as a good way to satisfy sweet tooths and help out fellow neighbors.

Nearly $400 was raised for the families affected by the fire. SmittyBread, Something Blue Bakery, Nothing Bundt Cake, Popp-a-Topp, as well as Second Baptist Church all generously donated baked goods to the cause while dozens of folks from across the county donated to the families.

The leftover baked goods were donated to the volunteer firefighters of the Wabash Township Fire Department.

Attached to this web-story there’s a video of the live art that was going on during the bake sale.
