On your marks, get set⦠Wait a minute. Itâs The Great British Bake Off but not as we know it. The cake-making contestâs pint-sized spin-off Junior Bake Off returned to our screens last week, with 20 of the UK’s most talented young bakers venturing into the familiar tent.Â
The school-aged version used to air on CBBC but has been on a two-year hiatus since Channel 4 poached the main series from the Beeb in a £25m deal. Now itâs back and better than ever. My children are currently glued to it and I keep finding myself watching over their shoulders.
